“The Writer Upstairs: Book One” by Matt Mallinson darts impressive adventures of a lonesome woman, who discovers the incalculable benefits of interacting with Mother Nature at the helm of trying to figure out her authentic self and personal endowment.
The read begins with a genius chemist who catches a glimpse of a seemingly lost young woman wandering around his expansive inherited property. For someone raised as a hunter, it is pretty easy to follow the movements of the stranger, whose gaze interestingly stays focused on trees. A more cautious watch reveals the wanderer’s defined effort and searching demeanor, in a locale where the intellectual chemist has not seen another soul in a while.
Readers will sense apprehension and suspicion begin to rise as the chemist makes his approach. Why has the lady suddenly stopped at his dearest oak tree and why are her hands touching its bark as if trying to feel something? -“Mites? Pollen? Chemicals?” Locating the enigmatic oak tree is a quest shown to have been tiresome for the wanderer, who carefully articulates indecipherable disclosures about it. Her words provoke unending questioning by the chemist, who ends up examining nature from an unlikely stance.
“The Writer Upstairs” is a thrilling text that draws in a reader’s emotions with every fresh chapter. The author has creatively arranged scenes that smoothly transition, allowing readers to experience the characters’ thoughts and lifestyle, both in the wild woods as well as in cosmopolitan environs. Puzzling facets and suspenseful feats have been combined with evocative clues along the lines to facilitate critical thinking, even as more breathtaking discourses are brought in.
This is a five-star yarn that will make readers appreciate nature as a living being that can speak and offer substantial inspiration from its innate marvels. The characters’ initiatives are convincingly essential and will have a sure consent to the notable phrase that nature doesn’t need people, rather, people need nature.
